Brief History of BKMTTC
Bangladesh Kormo Mukhi Technical Training Center (BKMTTC) was born with the thought of removing the unemployment of the society and to play a role in the socio-economics of Bangladesh. It is a non-profit organization.
Bangladesh Kormo Mukhi Technical Training Center (BKMTTC) believes that economic development depends on technical knowledge. BKMTTC was established in 2014 with the aim of contributing to the acceleration and enhancement of economic development and self-reliance. BKMTTC promises to create skilled human resources through technical training centers that allow almost all faculties for technological development. It is maintaining an industrial environment for new and innovative ways of teaching and learning. BKMTTC strives to enable students to both acquire knowledge and develop skills to apply that knowledge in practical life. It focuses on practical and hands-on learning for students of all ages and is affiliated with Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) to deliver more positive outcomes for students and the economy.
Importance of Technical Training
Technical education is practical and hands-on education in present times due to the proximity of technology. Education through which students are trained in modern and scientific manner to use information technology, industry, agriculture and factory machinery. That is, technical education plays an important role in transforming our labor market into skilled workers and industrializing the country. The importance of technical education in our country in the current era of 4th industrial revolution is so much that hundred percent of the companies are proof of it. We need skilled technicians and skilled operators not all need to pass BA, MA. Because we don’t have the opportunity to give jobs to these certificate holders in this country and if they don’t get subject-specific training, there is no job opportunity abroad.
In today’s world, the manufacturing sector creates the most employment opportunities in the job market. At present, as a result of industrialization in the development of developed Bangladesh, new industrial zones are being developed and the world’s biggest product and service producing companies are investing in them. Due to these reasons, the importance of technical education is constantly increasing in our country.
